Where Tickets Are Purchased

Powerball is a nationwide lottery game that includes 30 states. A person can purchase tickets in any of these states to win any prizes including the Jackpot. PowerballGuide is located in Tennessee, therefore, will be purchasing tickets in this state. All tickets will be recorded, maintained, and posted for its members to see.

Pool Play

PowerballGuide is NOT a powerball ticket seller or reseller. The service that we offer is a group or pool tickets that is determined by the number of subscribed members. At the time of ticket purchases, we will buy as many numbers as there are members. Each member represents 1 number play at $1 per play without powerplay. So the more members we have, the more numbers we can play, which means the better chance we will all win. Each month, we will take into consideration the jackpot amount to choose the best draw to buy tickets. As a result, the time of draw could be early or late in the month. We encourage you to check back often to be updated on play time.

Subscription Fee and Membership

PowerballGuide charges a $2.99 monthly fee to its members to cover ticket costs and site maintenance costs including web development, data analysis, ticket postings, record keeping, prize winnings claim, payment disbursement, and handling daily member questions and requests. Each membership period is 1 month and renewable every month. Each membership allows you one powerball number suggestion for every draw and legally entitled you to any winnings for that draw during which you are a member. Unsubscribe anytime to stop payment and you will automatically be removed from our members list.

Prize and Winnings Distribution

Powerball rules state that you do NOT have to cash the ticket at the same store, but you do have to cash the ticket in the same state. You can also claim any prize - and prizes over $600 - at the state lottery headquarters.

Since we are purchasing tickets from Tennessee, all winnings will be claimed in the state of Tennessee in accordance of all applicable tax law. PowerballGuide will post publicly all legal proceedings in regards to winnings to its members and users to be completely transparent.

All winnings including the Jackpot will be collected and disbursed using the final amount minus taxes equally to its subscribed members at the time of the draw using Paypal. PowerballGuide reserves the right to 5% of all winning as commission fees on a case by case basis. This way we can keep the monthly subscription fee low. Please allow for up to 2 weeks to verify all information and record all winnings so that everyone receives the most accurate amount.

In the event of a Jackpot, the lump-sum option will be chosen instead of cash annuity. This is the simplest and safest way to divide the winning to subscribed members. We will release all the names of winners from our site and be absolutely transparent with every legal process and proceedings to claim the prize and disburse the right amount to each subscribed member.

Jackpot Anonymity

All but three states (DE, KS, ND) have laws that require the lottery to release the name and city of residence to anyone who asks. One state (SC) will keep your name secret if you request it, but if someone files a Freedom of Information Act request, you may have to file a plea with the judge to deny it. Another state (OK) now has a law that allows you to claim in a trust and to keep your name from the press (though the lottery will run checks on you). Photos and press conferences are always up to you. Most of the time, it is advisable to get it over with the press so that you don't have one or more reporters following you around to get that "exclusive" interview. A few more lotteries may work with you on setting up a trust or other partnership. You or your representative should contact the lottery for the details after you win.

PowerballGuide will not make public any names or information of its subscribed members in the event of a Jackpot. We will simply claim the prize and legally bound this agreement to disburse the winnings evenly to every subscribed members at the time of draw. Since we have not experienced a Jackpot event, all details are not clear. Please trust us to act on your behalf and abide by this agreement and rules of the game to get you the right amount of winnings. Stay tuned.
